THE USE OF THE GAME "JEOPARDY" 24/7 (for both teachers and students)
Everyday life always implies routine. That is why, we need to be creative, use our imagination, and do a variety of activities. Games can give you variety in that they can be used for the four skills--listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Furthermore, I took into consideration the American TV program "Jeopardy". It is a game in which the host provides the contestants with six different categories. Contestants choose one of those categories for a money prize. If they respond correctly, they win the prize and begin accumulating money.

In addition, I adapted the TV program to create an interactive game based on a topic from the MEP's syllabus. The example below is the Jeopardy game powerpoint presentation that can be modified according to your needs. This powerpoint version was downloaded from the internet.
It is pertinent to share with you a Jeopardy version that I designed for fourth graders. Several categories were chosen based on the topics studied at the moment. For example, there were five categories: greetings, introductions, leave-takings, spelling, and hangman.
You are welcome to give your opinion about the following questions: What do you think of using games for teaching and learning?, Have you heard about "Jeopardy"?, How would you adapt this game in order to use it as a tool for learning? This is since the designer's purpose is to have an insight about the use of this game for your learning / teaching and for improvement.
